...AND I CRIED

I wish my father was alive
I wish he was there
I wish he was there to smile with us
I wish he was there to share in the joy, happiness, laughter.
I wish he was there to walk with mum out to the traditional marriage scene as tradition demands
I wish he was there to walk my elder sis down the aisle as it's supposed to be.
WHERE WAS HE?
And I cried deep down me because I felt his absence all over me
I imagined the smile on his face as the proud father of the bride
I imagined his dancing steps.
Although I know was not much of a dancer but I'm sure he would have at least done something that looks like a dance and that would have been enough.
WHERE WAS HE?
MAY HIS GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE,AMEN.
Today I'm happy for my elder sister. She finally got married to the man of her dreams. Why state the obvious when the unending joy was written all over her sweaty face and all the curves of her lips.Today I believe that truly love exists. I don't know how it exists but I just know it exists. Just wait till the right time and you'll buy my idea about love's existence.
I'm happy because I can not just wait to be called an ''UNCLE''. You know the joying of waking up to hear ''UNCLE GOOD MORNING''. LOL, FUNNY RIGHT? I'm happy for my mum too. Indeed she is a proud mum and now a mother-in law. I wish my elder sis a happy married life. I wish and her new family unending joy, happiness. I pray for God's word to be their foundation.
BYE ELDER SIS AND LET MUM, KID SISTER AND I ENJOY THE HOUSE ALONE.lol
And before I forget, I wish myself a good wife too in future. LOL.

  5. Congratulations Bro.
I was there! Yes, I witnessed the glamorous heavy weight event. In a simple term, it was UNIQUE!. Everything was in order. Joy, unending smiles and happiness filled the atmosphere. Not forgetting the how my stomach smiled too.
I pray God's blessings upon the new family. And like the Governor's wife rightly said that in nine months time there will be a cry of a baby... I strongly concur!
Worry not about Dad and be rest assured that he's happy wherever he is.
